The north/northeast side of the peak is prominent in the Domel (Domail) Shounter valley.

Hari Parbat is Urdu name mean Green Mountain because it is located in lush green Domel, is a truly top tourist destination in Neelum valley. Chitta Katha lake is originate from virgin peak Hari Parbat. A beautiful lake is located at the southern base of the mountain named Chiita Katha lake (Chiita Katha Sar) or lake of the Mount Hari parbat.
