Because the old road passes close to Indian Army position Line of control with Pakistan, it is impossible to use it safely. To avoid sniper fire, an alternative bypass road (Leswa Bypass) Pak Army was constructed, which is longer but safe from firing. Leswa Bypass maximum altitude 3280 meter at the point of Leswa top. It was constructed to maintain the transportation link between Muzaffarabad and Neelum valley during the Indian firing across LOC near Chalihana/Titwal area.

The road is passing through small villages of Azad Kashmir, it is one of the incredible roads in Neelum valley. it will never bore you when you travel on this road.
