A Snake road Leswa Bypass road Leswa Top Leswa valley only way to enter Neelum valley of Azad Kashmir in Pakistan. Because the old road passes close to Indian Army position Line of control Kashmir with Pakistan, it is impossible to use it safely. To avoid sniper fire when situation goes viral, an alternative bypass road (Leswa Bypass, leswa road) Pak Army was constructed, which is longer but safe from firing. Leswa Bypass maximum altitude 3280 meter at the point of Leswa top. It was constructed to maintain the transportation link between Muzaffarabad and Athmuqam Neelum valley during the Indian firing across LOC near Chalihana/Titwal area near Athmuqam Azad Kashmir .

Due to the new route travelling time distance heavily increased from Muzaffarabad to Athmuqam. The old road is 25 km distance Muzaffarabad to Athmuqam and but new Leswa Bypass road Muzaffarabad to Athmuqam distance 100 km .
The amazing thing about this bypass is that it looks like a snake road with an outstanding view, some of the place's roads suddenly go upwards. The road is passing through small villages of Azad Kashmir, it is one of the incredible roads in Neelum valley. it will never bore you when you travel on this road. On the way you can see Neelum river, river Neelum Jhelum Hydroelectric power plant dam, water stream, densest forest of Leswa valley, mountain peak of leswa valley (Chunj peak, Mali peak) and Azad kashmir peak Pir Hasimar, Pir Chanasi, in the distance Jummu Kashmir peaks Shamshabari Range (Koni Rawal peak, Wadori peak), Pirpanjal range(Bisiwali Dhar peak, Kazi Nag peak).
