Unseen Ishkoman Valley North Of Gilgit Baltistan Pakistan

The Ishkoman valley in Ghizer District lies in the north of Pakistan, bordering Chitral valley Pakistan and country Afghanistan and the Wakhan Corridor Pamir mountains range. Ishkoman is a high mountain valley in the Hindukush and Karakorum mountains, in the northwest region of Gilgit in the Gilgit Baltistan of Pakistan.
It is a last valley on north side of Gilgit Baltistan border with Wakhan Corridor, It is situated at a distance of almost 140 kilometers from Gilgit. the main Ishkoman city on foot of Shiniki 5907 m peak, Ishkoman is connected to the Yasin valley, Naltar valley and Chipursan in Gojal Hunza valley by a high mountain pass. Ishkoman connect Baroghil(Broghil) valley Chitral Khyber Pakhtunkhwa near Qurumbar Lake(Karambar Lake). Ishkoman valley lies on backside of Chiantar Glacier Hindukush range,is a glacier in Chitral district khyber pakhtunkhwa Pakistan. it is a 34 Km long and 6th longest glacier in Pakistan.

The unseen natural beauty of the valley makes it a popular tourist destination, snow caped mountain, river, hidden lake, stream, glacier, green field down the valley and rich fruits.
Valley rich in fruits and dry fruits like apricots,walnut,grapes,almond,pear,apple, cligstone, phator[a local dry fruit] and many other fruits.Moreover,the people of Ishkoman valley are well known for their hospitality, save place for foreigner, they accept and welcome tourists with open and with warm heart. Shina is the mother tongue of ishkomanics but Urdu is also spoken widely, most of  young generation and adults can also speak English and some of elder people can also speak English to communicate with a foreigner one. 
the primary language of Ishkoman area is the Wakhi, the khowar language, Burushaski language and the Shina language.

The temperature of valley is is very low in winters and there is normal temperature in summer seaon. Mostly in winters the whole area is covered by the blanket of snow and the whole area looks white any very shiny.The kids make snow man by using snow and also do snow sliding..While in summer the whole area becomes green,and the fields are ploughed by the farmers. crops begin to grow and the trees start to make fruits.

Karambar Lake 4,272 meters also known as Qurumbar Lake is a high elevation lake placed between Baroghil Valley Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Ishkoman valley Gilgit baltistan in Pakistan. Deepest lake in the valley, Lake Water flow into Ishkoman valley. second most elevated in Pakistan at a tallness of 4,272 meters and one of the most elevated naturally dynamic lakes on earth.
