Lawat valley tourist resort is a very beautiful and captivating place for tourism. This valley has Patlian lake, Kanali waterfall, Nairean/Neriaan waterfall , meadows which are still hidden from the eyes of the people. Lawat valley is one of the greenish valley in Neelum valley, valley near bank of Neelum river can only be approached from Muzaffarabad side and it is situated in Neelum valley Azad Kashmir Pakistan. All the basic necessities of life are available. The valley has few hotels for accommodating visitors and tourists. Lawat valley consist of many villages few villages are Lawat Bala, Lawat Pain, Bore Bala, Khawaja Seri, Lawat Minhan, Uoor Saydian.
Lawat is stretched from Neelum river border with East Jammu kashmir India, North Dowarian and south Keran Neelum Azad kashmir Pakistan. in the West border with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pakistan. Tributary from Patlian lake Chuntar Nar stream flow from North to South in the whole valley, final fall in Neelum river The valley is 23 km long , start near Neelum river to the south to west border with KPK and ends at high mountain pass Deschali Gali near Patlian lake.
Patlian lake the highest glacier lake Neelum valley:
At the elevation of 3800 m Patlian lake the only lake in Lawat valley, which can be approached after a long jeep track and half hour hike to reach. It is among some of the highest lakes in the Neelum valley located North of Lawat Neelum valley near the border of Azad Kashmir and KPK Pakistan it is almost 20 km track took 3 hours to reach, it is some of longest jeep track and very remote lake in Lawat valley. It can only be seen in the summer season, most of the year it is covered with snow. On the way you will see and enjoy the natural scenery of the valley and high snow capped peak.
Kanali Waterfall Lawat valley Neelum valley:
Opposite of Jora peak a hidden Kanali waterfall is a piece of heaven for nature lovers. enjoy and see the nature wonder can be approached from lawat valley, 1 hour hike from killuan village to take you to the Kanali waterfall. It is one of the biggest waterfalls and surprisingly 3 waterfalls parallel. From here leads up to one more waterfall still hidden near Kanali Sar peak . outstanding view and meadows of near Kanali waterfall only can access from lawat valley on jeep then hike the waterfall is an incredible pearl of nature, little explored and still hidden from many tourist eyes.

ReplyDeleteNo one explore the Guleev Lake 13600 feet height and about 6 Km further climbup in eastern terrin. I reach ther on 29th of june 2022 by foot. why doesn,t anyone mentioned it?
