Historical MottoTunnel in Ayubia National Park

Now open hidden historical Motto/Moto Tunnel for tourists in Galyat, a newly restored British era tunnel in tourist famous pipeline track in Ayubia National Park, track starts from Ayubia hill station and ends at Dunga Gali. It is a very long pipeline track through Galyat forest and on the way the view is marvelous. Tunnel built in 1891 but buried in filth and waste has been meticulously recovered and restored again to its original glory. For years it stayed buried in waste till the work was done to bring it back to its former state. The tunnel is now going to extend the famous and most gorgeous pipeline track (4km) by another 10 km.

The tunnel was an architectural masterpiece at the time and was repaired in the same condition. The 240-foot-long thick tunnel made of mud and stones is four feet wide and six feet high, which is made of stones and mud. The special thing about this tunnel is that it has a footpath on both sides. The length of the track from Donga Gali to Ayubia is four kilometers and the length of the footpath from Ayubia to Koza Gali is ten kilometers.
