This terrifying road only way to reached Khaltaro, one of probably the most challenging, dangerous road in Pakistan and Gilgit baltistan. this dangerous roads start from Sassi on Skardu road S-1, Sassi is located on bank of Indus river 66 km away from capital Gilgit city Gilgit baltistan. Adventurous start to Khaltaro through single narrow jeep road track on rocky and mud mountains lies in Karakorum mountain range.
when passing through towering mountains of both side on khalttaro road there is no sign of trees and greener either side of the road. some spot you will see jeep is passing single line both side has deep ditch, there is no support on both side of the road. never witnessed this kind of track before. at this point road goes very dangerous is supported with stone . soon it will be damage and totally block whole khaltaro valley if government should not take any immediately action to built any bridge to connect valley to other skardu city and Gilgit city.
Just 15 km long dangerous track , impossible to cross two jeep one has to stop move back to get better spot where can crossing possible of two jeeps. this dangerous road considered one of most dangerous track in the world specially in rain.

after 2 hours on deadly track finally reached Khaltaro valley. valley has few houses and much greenery, pine forest scattered all over. moreover there is alpine khun meadows itself to excellent pastures for the plentiful livestock and scenes of undisturbed grazing cattle, yaks give further serenity. amazing view of all Karakorum mountain range Malubiting 7453 m, Bilchhar Dobani 6143 m, Bulche I 7016 m and Haramosh-I 7,409.
